Помимо всех прочих смыслов, которыми наделили цветущие растения ушедшие эпохи, превратив их в язык знаков, цветок есть, был и будет универсальной метафорой красоты. Так в своем альбоме "Alphabet of new plants" Роберт Войт, изучая границы понятия эстетического в искусстве собирает почти настоящий гербарий из ненастоящих цветов, перенося свой ботанический опыт в искусство фотографии. В процессе работы с книгой я открыла для себя замечательную в своей простоте и абсурдности вещь — цветочный гороскоп.

с цветочным гороскопом обретая современную немного ироничную оболочку теста "Какой вы цветок?", заполняя который вы сами вписываете себя в антропологический гербарий.

The bouquet should have an odd number of flowers, a plantain should be applied to a fresh wound, and a lily is a flower of kings. All these simple truths are firmly rooted in our consciousness. In addition to all the other meanings that flowering plants have endowed with bygone eras, turning them into a sign language, the flower is, has been and will be a universal metaphor for beauty. So in his album "Alphabet of new plants" Robert Voight, studying the boundaries of the concept of aesthetic in art, collects an almost real herbarium from fake flowers, transferring his botanical experience to the art of photography. In the process of working with the book, I discovered a wonderful thing in its simplicity and absurdity - a flower horoscope.
It would seem, what do flowers have to do with stars, and even more so with people?
In my project, the botanical reference book, as a way of classifying and systematizing species, was combined with the flower horoscope, acquiring a modern, slightly ironic shell of the "What flower are you?" test, filling which you enter yourself into the anthropological herbarium.

В основу проекта легла альбом "Alphabet of new plants" Роберта Войта. В самой книге автор исследует границы эстетического, сначала кропотливо работая над ботаническими тетрадями, а позже собирая в альбом уже ненастоящие цветы. Он выдерживает правила настоящего гербария только для того чтобы их нарушать.
Как говорит Джульетта в трагедии Шекспира "Ромео и Джульетта": "Роза пахнет розой, Хоть розой назови ее, хоть нет", так и цветы являются универсальной метафорой прекрасного, хоть живые, хоть искусственные, совсем
не важно. Идея ненастоящего гербария меня очень тронула и развеселила, небольшое хулиганство, совершенно безобидное, в тоже время приятно дерзкое. Моя работа состоит из двух частей, тест и инстаграм маски.
Главной идеей проекта было собрать антропоморфный гербарий из посетителей выставки, классифицируя их, разбивая на условные виды. По ходу работы эта идея причудливым образом смешалась с цветочным гороскопом
и девичьим тестом в тетрадке, который дают заполнить только избранным подружкам, только по секрету. Одновременно с этим в проекте отражается привычка\потребность хранить память, между листами блокнота в виде всякого мусора, билетов, фантиков, цветков, так и каждого посетителя, мне хотелось, запомнить, положить
в блокнот.
Разрабатывая визуальную часть проекта, я вслед за Робертом Войтом, старалась определить для себя границы эстетического в современной массовой культуре. Самые простые, низко полигональные модели цветов - foliage, выступают как цифровой носитель той самой, универсальной метафоры прекрасного.
Прибегая к ставшему совсем недавно широкодоступным для разработчиков формату инстаграм масок, я стремилась найти грань между красивым, модным, авторским и разрешенным. Получить отклик на свой запрос получилось
Прибегая к ставшему совсем недавно широкодоступным для разработчиков формату инстаграм масок, я стремилась найти грань между красивым, модным, авторским и разрешенным. Получить отклик на свой запрос получилось
не только, как изначально предполагалось, в виде комментариев пользователей сети, но и от разработчиков инстаграма, проверяющих и утверждающих маски перед публикацией. Интересным открытием стало наличие расплывчатого, но тем не менее непрекословного свода правил для разработчиков, регламентирующего не только технические свойства файлов, но и некоторые визуальные, что по сути можно расценивать как попытку, контроля эстетической функции масок. На данный момент не все маски прошли проверку и были утверждены для использования, а те которые прошли, прошли ее не в изначальном, задуманном мною виде.

as it was originally supposed, in the form of comments from network users, but also from Instagram developers who check and approve all masks before publication. An interesting discovery was the presence of a vague, but nevertheless unquestioning set of rules for developers, regulating not only the technical properties of files, but also some visual ones, which in fact can be regarded as an attempt to control the aesthetic function of masks. At the moment, not all masks have passed the test and have been approved for use, and those that have passed, have not passed it in their original form.
